Ann Sea Spring Series Champions
The final results of the Spring Series gave back to back Spring Series wins to Ann Sea (6) ahead of Magic (7) and Ice (11) with Port FM Mais Oui (16) and Ruff Red (16) tied for fourth followed by Tau Ceti (24), Groove (31), Island Girl (31) and Indigo (34). An elated skipper Tim Preuss said the win came as a surprise as they were 10 points off the pace heading into the final two races. It was the system of allowing two drops that enabled Ann Sea to drop the two 9 points awarded during her absence cruising for race 3 and 4 that enabled the series victory. |
